When it comes to my personal goals & aspirations, I've learned that understanding my 'WHY' is crucial... It's important to have a purpose that drives me, whether it's to make a positive impact in the world, provide for my loved ones, or simply achieve my own personal dreams. 💭
But what truly ignites my passion & motivates me to take action is having a clear VISION of what I want to build & create. I ask myself:
❓What problem can I solve?
❓What unique perspective can I bring to the table?
❓How can I make a difference in my industry?
Once I've shaped my vision, I dive into the 'HOW'. 👉 What resources do I need? What skills do I need to develop? Who can I align with to make my vision a reality? And most importantly, when will I take the leap & launch?
And seeing it grow, change, & evolve into something new & different is what fuels my passion. What about you? What gets you going?

5 years ago, I made the decision to take my social media presence to the next level. I realized that social media was the future, and with everyone glued to their phones, I knew I had to be there too... It took a lot of hard work to find my voice, but it was worth it! 💯

As someone who's been in the real estate business for a while, I'm often asked what I look for when recruiting new agents... So if you're thinking about entering this exciting & challenging industry, here are the key things that I look for when I'm hiring new agents 👇
1️⃣ COACHABILITY: Will you take direction, or will you try to make decisions on your own? Being coachable is crucial for success in this industry.
2️⃣ WORK ETHIC: Real estate is like a startup, & it's not easy. To make it, you must be willing to put in long hours - 10, 12, or even 14-hour workdays. Do you have what it takes?
3️⃣ CHARACTER, INTEGRITY & OTHER QUALITIES: Are you someone who will do the right thing? MOTIVATION is another important factor - are you fired up & ready to take on the world?
4️⃣ SELF RELIANCE- You can't rely on others to hand you deals or leads. You need to be the kind of person who takes charge & takes responsibility for their own success. This isn't always easy, but it's essential if you want to succeed.
Let me tell you a story... I once spoke with a famous hairstylist who wanted to switch to real estate. During the interview, she said she didn't need coaching - she knew what she was doing. ❌ But when I asked her how she knew, since she had never sold real estate before, she didn't have an answer. Real estate is a different ballgame, & success requires a unique set of skills. 👈

Prospecting can be unpredictable, & it's never certain where your next lead will come from...
I remember early on my career spending an entire day door-knocking, with not a single positive response. It was disheartening, to say the least. But, when I got back to the office, I found a voicemail waiting for me. It was a potential seller looking to list their property, and it reminded me of the universal law of CONSISTENT EFFORT. ✅
👉 While your efforts may not always lead to direct results, something magical happens when you put in the work. The leads will show up when you least expect them to.
I had another instance where I had been spending money on mailers to a farm with no results. But, while waiting in line at the dry cleaners, someone recognized me & asked about a property I had sold. As luck would have it, the owner of the dry cleaners overheard the conversation & asked me to take a look at their house and potentially list it! It goes to show that consistent prospecting will lead to consistent business, even if it's not always in the way you expect it to be.

One of the greatest privileges I have is conducting annual reviews with my team members... It's a time where I get to check in with each person individually & assess their performance from the previous year. But it's not just about pointing out areas for improvement. It's a chance to HONOR & APPRECIATE each team member for the great job they've done. 🎖️
👉 It's also an opportunity to coach & mentor them and help them grow and develop. And I believe it's just as important for the person being reviewed as it is for me. They want to hear how they're doing, what they're doing right & wrong, and how they can improve. 📈
So, while conducting annual reviews may seem like a lot of work, I believe it's one of the most valuable & insightful things I can do as a leader. It allows me to ✅ connect with each team member, ✅ help them grow & develop, and ✅ celebrate their successes. 🏆

I’ve always enjoyed leadership roles, but it’s not always a walk in the park... As a leader, I enjoy helping people achieve their goals, establishing priorities, & creating new business opportunities. 💡
❗However, sometimes TOUGH CHOICES need to be made, such as terminating people, enforcing policies, & saying no. It’s not easy because we want to be liked & we care deeply, but we’re ultimately responsible for the success & health of the business. 🏆
As leaders, we’ll always face tough situations that require us to put PRINCIPLES before PERSONALITIES, even if it may hurt someone’s feelings. It’s a challenging journey, but necessary for the company’s wellbeing. 👉 LEADERSHIP is a fun & exciting path, but it comes with difficult choices that we must be willing to make. 🗨️

I wanted to share with you my morning routine & what’s been working for me lately... Every morning, as soon as I wake up, I have a huge cup of coffee ready for me, with a splash of almond milk, poured into my favorite mug. ☕ I then settle into my big brown leather chair & start my morning with INTENTION & PURPOSE 👈
My routine begins with reading scripture & saying a prayer, followed by meditation using the Hallow app, which has been amazing for my mental clarity. 🧘 I also incorporate breathing exercises with Wim Hof app, and my WHOOP band tracks my heart rate during these exercises, dropping from the 60s to the 40s, which is incredible to see. ⏱️
After that, I catch up on emails & social media before heading to CrossFit for my daily workout. Then I head to the office by 8 am, ready to tackle the day with renewed FOCUS & ENERGY. 💯
I follow this routine every day, including weekends, as CONSISTENCY is key for me to be the best version of myself. So, what morning routine works for you? Share in the comments!

Facing a COUP was one of the biggest challenges I encountered as a leader. Let me tell you a story...
A friend-agent asked me to help secure a listing, little did I know that this would be the beginning of a problem. While I was away on vacation, two agents who cared about me called to warn me about a coup. It turns out that some agents believed I was showing favoritism to my friend. 👥
Upon returning to the office, I discovered that not many agents had gone to the coup meeting. I met with the two agents who organized it & had to let them go on the spot. The next day, I called an emergency meeting & told everyone that if they felt I was showing favoritism to anyone, I would leave. To my surprise, everyone supported me, and it was my first test as a leader. 👨‍💼
As a leader, I learned that I need to be open to feedback & take action to address any issues. So let this be a lesson to all aspiring leaders out there 👉 be true to yourself & your values, ✅ face challenges with courage, transparency, 🌱 and a willingness to learn & grow. Never compromise your integrity or the trust of your team.
