We're back, baby. After a summer hiatus, The Corner Blitz is back for the 2025-2026 school year. Our first show of the season is all about the Jaguars — new head coach Paul Anderson, an offensive guru, takes over a North Pike team that has been in the dumps the last two seasons, and you can tell by talking to Jakobe Barnes, Nathan Lawrence, Tyler Morgan and Tayshaun Ross they're in the dumps no more, and are, in fact, looking for some sweet, sweet revenge. Benji Embry, Bradley Creel and Adam Northam also caught up on recent sports topics, like the NCAA not going forward with March Madness expansion (good), ESPN and the NFL getting in bed together (bad), and the NFL banning smelling salts (indifferent).
We're live every Wednesday night at 6 p.m. at The FitLife Sports Plex in McComb. Manuel Scott is behind the lens; Andrew Nations is beneath the headphones. The Corner Blitz is a product of Southwest Media Group.
