Today, we begin a two-week look at how God builds his church? Now, for anyone who has built a home, a budget, or a lego set, understanding how something is foundational to getting it right. And when it comes to something as complicated and (let’s be honest) messy, as building a church - understanding this process should be immensely helpful to each of us. What is the pastor's roles, what is the elders' role, what are the church members' roles, and most importantly (and oft-forgotten) what is God’s role?

Do you want to stay in the shallow end of the pool when it comes to your spiritual growth? Do you want to dog-paddle the rest of your life? Before you can move out of the shallows, there are some things that impede the Christian's journey toward maturity.

How do we understand Godly wisdom? Christians understand God's wisdom only through the Spirit of God.

When it comes to sharing the gospel message don't worry about being eloquent, qualified, or ready. It's not about you. It's about the good news of the gospel.
