Today, Andrei boasts more than fifteen years of hard-earned experience in the food and beverage industry.

Sankar is the President and co-founder of the Herpetological Society of Singapore (HSS). Herpetology is the study of reptiles and amphibians.

These misunderstood creatures are found all over Singapore. However, they face lots of discrimination and unwarranted fear from the public.

The HSS has been actively involved in education, outreach and conservation of reptiles and amphibians in Singapore since 2015. It hopes to increase the appreciation and respect for wild reptiles and amphibians among the people of Singapore.

An exciting conversation with indie-pop music group , M1LDL1FE on their craft, and the music industry at large.

M1LDL1FE cuts across the indie-pop grain, weaving together lush electronic textures and eclectic dance grooves into the pop sensibilities of guitar-driven indie music of the early 2000s. Formed in 2012 by bassist David Siow, drummer Jeryl Yeo, guitarist Tan Peng Sing, the band later recruited Paddy Ong to take on lead vocals. First conceived as a university hall cover band, they wrote their first originals in college dorm basements, garnering attention with their brazen indie-rock pop sound and energetic live shows. They debuted their first EP, “PAIRS” in 2015, receiving critical acclaim from the local press and were slated to be “one of the most exhilarating new acts to emerge from Singapore's burgeoning indie-pop scene”.

Fast forward a couple years, the quartet found themselves opening for venerable acts like Last Dinosaurs, Walk the Moon, Travis and Death Cab for Cutie back in their native Singapore, and even went on a few touring stints in Southeast Asia, China, and Spain.

Today, the four-piece emerges from the studio with a new sound and material. Armed with a fresh and grittier sonic palette, the quartet rechristened themselves M1LDL1FE and will release their eponymous EP in July.

Chris Brown (not that Chris Brown) is a New Zealand native that sings the Australian national anthem and has been a proud guest of this wonderful country for two years. After a tussle with a serious illness, he experimented with a number of philosophies and self help movements but always found something wanting.

That was until he stumbled upon the ancient philosophy of Stoicism.

He now co-leads the not-so-secret Singapore Stoics Meetup group, introducing people to a framework that helps ordinary folks live better lives and be better people.

A food entrepreneur since the age of 22, Joey founded Poke Theory with his sister Vannessa 4 years ago, a fast casual poke and acai bowl business, and never looked back.

When not working on the business, Joey enjoys spending quality time with his family, his friends, his kitchen, and his television. Gaming, poker and soccer pulls him out of Singapore's heavy gravity for a few hours at a time when needed, and the kitchen will always remain a sacred playground of his own (apart from needing it for his job now).
