The Cosmic Pizza Podcast

The Cosmic Pizza Podcast brings you Episode 102: 100 Film Bucket List.

This episode we create our 100 film bucket list. The gang all brought 25 films to add to the list and it is Paul's task to watch as many films as he can and report back. This may take some time. If you can think of some films that are not on the list then please email at [email protected] and we will see if we can add it to the list.

The Cosmic Pizza Podcast brings you Episode 101: Review of the 1997 Jodie Foster film, Contact.

This week the boys agreed that it was time for a film review, so they decided on the 1997 Jodie Foster Film, Contact. Dr. Eleanor "Ellie" Arroway, a SETI scientist who finds evidence of extra-terrestrial life and is chosen to make first contact. This was reviewed back in July 2016 on the Sci-Fi Waffle podcast with Shawn and Paul. There were issues with that review so, 9 years later we will include Dan and have a more meaningful discussion this time round. Thanks to Snips Movies, my local DVD rental store, for providing the DVD for me to watch. £2.50 a movie is cheaper that Netflix or Amazon.

The Cosmic Pizza Podcast brings you Episode 99: The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.

Unfortunately, this month, due to circumstances beyond our control, we have not been able to get together and record our planned “slice of life”. This has been postponed until after Episode 100. In the meantime, here is a review of the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy that Paul recorded way back in 2014 as part of the Rusted Robot’s, Rivet’s Ready Room. It was also used in the Sci-Fi Waffle podcast in 2016, so apologies if you have heard it before, but we think 9 years is a long enough period between repeat airings.

We will be back with a bang next month with a whole new look, as we release our new podcast artwork and as a celebration of our 100th episode we will be releasing the this episode only, on YouTube! Meanwhile, enjoy your journey around the galaxy with this review.

Cosmic Pizza Podcast brings you Episode 98: 42 years old! What was the question?.

Today (as we recorded) it was Dan's 42nd birthday. So we thought that we should, in Dan's words, "get some booze and talk birthday memories". Paul has more than the others, but can he remember them. Are Canadian birthdays any better or worse than UK birthdays. Will Kacey have enough birthdays to remember? Join the Pizza Gang to find out.

The Cosmic Pizza Podcast brings you Episode 96: Retro gaming with Phill & Dave.

We have a plethora of hosts and guests today as Dan, Paul, Kacey and Shawn are joined by good friends of the show Phil Russell and Dave Martin. You may remember them from episodes 90 - 2 Drive, 2 Survive and 63 The Two Ball Rally.

In the last episode they were on we got sidetracked and started talking about retro gaming. The discussion was so much fun we thought it would be a great idea for a full podcast so here it is! Sit back and reminisce with the gang as we talk about our history in gaming.
