Today Perry and Shawna kick off a week of conversations about how following Jesus means a life of complete surrender to him.  First Francis Chan shares how his family is moving and risking it all for Christ.  They are about to see what it looks like to live out Acts 20:24—“I consider my life worth nothing at all.  My only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me.  The task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.”  Then Shawna shares that God wants our whole heart; that the cost of following Jesus is surrendering everything and everyone that comes before him.  And finally Mark Jobe, President of Moody Bible Institute, shows how a fresh encounter with the living God, with his holiness and his love, frees us to surrender all and follow him no matter what it costs.
