Hey everyone, Josh here! Thanks for listening today as we are going to touch on some ideas that are very personal to me. In this episode, Andrew interviews me on the topic of death and how awareness and acceptance of death can increase your quality of life. I took this opportunity to put words to thoughts I have been having for some time, and I hope this some good content for you. I hope this also provides a schema for how to think and talk about difficult topics. I used this as an opportunity to literally think out loud - so hopefully letting you into my process is helpful. For those of you who do not know Dr. Logue, you are in for a real treat with this episode. She is a clinical psychologist with a PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University of Tennessee Knoxville and is currently practicing with L+C Psychological Services in Florence KY. In today’s episode we will be covering female empowerment - and more specifically how societal pressures weigh on and influence female roles in society. Chrissy, as I refer to her during the episode, was a professor for both Andrew and I in grad school - and she was my mentor and clinical supervisor during my post-grad practice. She has been a great friend and I owe much of the beginning of my clinical career to her incredible mentorship.
