The Counter Culture Mom Show with Tina Griffin

A simple Facebook post discussing his concern over a Woke Halloween poster hanging across the hall from his dorm room, led to a former Indiana Wesleyan University student, Micah Sample, to be pressured by the school to “repent” of his Christian conservative values in 2017. Micah, editor of Wokepedia, recounts his experience of being disciplined by this so-called Bible school, being expelled from the honor society, and targeted with social justice-driven “equity reports'' because he was vocal about his Biblical stance. Micah indicates what red flags parents should look for when considering sending their kids to a “Christian” college that has been infiltrated with leftist indoctrination. Is it worth it to stay at a Bible college that is promoting Marxist ideology rather than Scripture? After hearing Micah’s experience, it is a resounding NO.

Communism is the scientific application of Satanism, and no entity has been as infiltrated with this ideology as the American church, says anti-communist filmmaker, Trevor Loudon. Trevor is also a speaker from Christchurch, New Zealand, and has spent the past three decades researching and exposing how Marxism has infiltrated mainstream politics and other major facets of society. Trevor shares how a chilling communist revolution is overthrowing the church, family, and civil government in America. Sadly, many seminaries are now infiltrated with Marxist ideology. Trevor also reveals that mainstream Episcopalians and Methodists have been taken over by communists. Trevor additionally points out, with evidence, several well-known American pastors and government officials who are involved in this Marxist takeover of America.

Jesus warned us that the end times would bring a weakening of the church, and today, the Marxist infiltration behind the pulpit proves we are living in the eleventh hour. Jon Harris, the founder of Conversations that Matter and creator of Last Stand Studios, warns of troubling activity within the church landscape. Jon, who has made many truth-telling documentaries that cover subjects like cancel culture and exposing the 1619 Project, encourages people to take a stand for truth no matter what the cost. Will Christians be benchwarmers or participants in proclaiming God’s Word as the corruption of communism in the church continues to be revealed?

If you want your child to grow up and perpetuate Godly values, sit down together every night and have a meal together, says Christian apologist and Founder and President of Truth For a New Generation, Alex McFarland. Alex has preached in more than 2,000 churches across America and is the only evangelist to have preached in 50 states in 50 days! The three things that children need most from their parents, reveals Alex, is authenticity, consistency, and accessibility. Alex shares that the youth of today are searching for the truth, and parents are the most important role model in a child’s life when it comes to illustrating what a relationship with Christ looks like. At Alex’s Truth for a New Generation camps, apologetics are taught to kids who are searching for a Biblical worldview.

Leaping from the top of a 32-foot pole and grabbing a trapeze bar is just one way that Guest Services Director of Doe River Gorge, Donna Pearce, says kids can draw closer to God. Donna coordinates the activities of this sprawling Tennessee Christian campground, which hosts campers from grade two to college. Campers can ride a train through the scenic river gorge, enjoy a paintball game, tube in the rapids, or swim in the lake. Donna points out various ways the camp provides an opportunity for youth to establish lifelong friendships and build a lasting relationship with the Lord. Children are encouraged to grow their faith by stepping out of their comfort zones and doing things they’ve never done before, like spelunking and horseback riding. The camp provides a breathtaking spot for families as well, who are seeking a Jesus-based getaway.

As visitors look toward the horizon, the towering, 10-story tall bow of Noah’s Ark catches the evening sun. The setting is Kentucky, and the places are the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum, founded by young earth apologist and creationist Ken Ham. Ken created these two fascinating attractions to showcase exhibits designed to help people think about humanity’s origins from a Biblical worldview. Incredibly, these two world-renowned destinations receive 1.5 million visitors every year. Some of its amazing attractions include a life-size replica of Noah’s Ark and a planetarium with a laser-projection system that shows visitors the size of the universe. Ken shares how imparting a Christian worldview is essential in shaping the minds and hearts of children and adults alike.
