Joy's sessions continue to impact Cori's life as she navigates recovery post treatment. Today we explore Joy's own journey with ED and what led her to becoming a service provider. This week the Cowley Sisters are joined by very special guests Eliana Ramos and Lisbet Rodriguez. Eliana Ramos founded the Honeycomb House in 2019 whilst unexpectedly pregnant with her first daughter and simultaneously working on her masters degree. With over ten years of social work experience, Eliana was familiar with the healthcare landscape for struggling, young mothers in the community and its lack of resources. She wanted to create a space committed to providing mothers and their babies with comprehensive and progressive wellness resources and training. The Honeycomb House takes a holistic, non-judgemental, and confidential approach to empower and educate mothers. Lisbet happens to be an alumni of the Honeycomb House and continues to support the organization.
