On this episode of CraftSanity I chat with Kayte Terry about her creative life and inspiring first book, " Complete embellishing Techniques and Projects."
Kayte, 31, of Brooklyn, is a talented stylist, writer and crafter who worked for several magazines including: Adorn, Cutting Edge, Vogue Knitting, Parents, Craft Stylish and Quick & Simple. She has also contributed to HGTV Ideas magazine, Getcrafty.com and Etsy's Storque. If you're a fan of Anthropologie, you'll enjoy hearing Kayte talk about working as a stylist for the company.
It's my hope that this podcast and Kayte's book will inspire you to look at the clothes in your closet with renewed interest and help you summon the courage to refashion your wardrobe. Who needs brand new store-bought clothes, when Kayte can inspire us to shop our own closets and local thrift shops to craft something fabulous on the cheap? I love it when my crafting saves me money.
