This week we discuss how we organize our fiber lives with Ravelry, including projects, stash, queues, and favorites. We talk about different ways to utilize the tools Ravelry offers, including how our methods differ from each other.

This week, in addition to the regular segments about WIPs and FOs, Kristi and Dana discuss plans and prizes for the Winter Craftalong starting on January 15th. We're also recapping our 2016 craft goals and stats and discussing WIP management (or lack thereof).

Welcome back! Thanks for joining us for Episode 8. This week we talk about our experiences with sewing and quilting, as well as what we'd like to explore in the future. We have our regular segments as well. We're very excited to announce our first KAL! We will be kicking off the Winter Crafting KAL on January 15 and it will end on March 15. We currently have one prize for the KAL, and we will be working to have more prizes available as well. Prizes will be announced later. The general guidelines for the KAL are as follows: Enter projects that you associate with winter Must be a member of the group to enter Must be a fiber arts craft (knit, crochet, sew, quilt, stitch, spin, weave, etc) Must be a substantial project (i.e. at least 100 grams for knitting/crochet projects) Must include a photo of finished object with entry Multiple entries allowed WIPs can be entered, as long as it is done by March 15. We hope you join us for the KAL, we would love to see what you're working on!

In addition to the regular segments, this week Dana and Kristi discuss the very serious topic of losing your crafty mojo and what to do about it.

This week Dana and Kristi are announcing the winner of the Shalimar Yarn giveaway! WOOHOO! We'll also be discussing our WIPs and FOs and any holiday gift making we might be doing (or planning to do!). Dana set a lofty goal of finishing four WIPs before recording the next episode. Hopefully that helps keep things on track! As a topical experiment for this episode, Dana and Kristi decided to dye sock blanks! We'll talk about our "plans" and some lessons learned, but all in all it was a fun crafty experiment.

This week Dana and Kristi are discussing their SAFF adventures and purchases. Due to the volume of SAFF related chatter, we'll only be quickly touching on WIPs and FOs.

This week we announce, with heavy hearts, that Corinna has had to make the decision to stop podcasting due to work and life obligations. While we'll miss her greatly, we support her decision to focus on juggling a busy work/life schedule, and she will be welcomed back as a guest any time she likes. In addition to our usual WIPs and FOs chatter, we also have a few special stash enhancements to talk about. We discuss a recent craft night in which we experimented with needle felting kits in preparation for planning our SAFF wish lists. In that segment, we talk about how successfully we were able to complete the projects and whether or not we would try these types of kits in the future.

Corinna is back and she has a new craft room! The holiday season is drawing near, so this week we discuss our thoughts on gift knitting: the good, the bad, and the unappreciative. In addition to our regular segments, we help Corinna pick her next sweater in "What Should I Make?". And find out why we named this "Squishy Passion."
