There are several things we would do differently if we were starting over RVing. We walk through several of those items and talk about camping with our pets.

It never fails when you're pulling in a campsite there are eyes everywhere. Is it just me or does it feel like everyone is watching you? We talk about people watching and why you shouldn't feel the pressure if people are watching.

Sometimes taking the camper doesn't make sense. Usually it's totally a money decision. If you'd rather jump off a cliff than stay in a hotel it always make sense for you to camp, but for us it's not so black and white. We take you through different options and our thought process to make that decision. 

Keep checking those reservations. Sometimes the only campsite left is one that you might not be too stoked about. Trust us. Keep checking and calling. You never know what is going to open up. 

Option 1: Camping for 2 nights/600 mile trip. Total cost: $267

Option 2: Not camping for 2 nights/600 mile trip. Total cost: $250 

Option 3: Camping for 4 nights/600 mile trip. Total cost: $417

Option 4: Not camping for 4 nights/600 mile trip. Total cost: $550

Part 2 of RV Newbie.

We remember our first time camping with our camper. Backing into the spot, hooking up the water, power and sewer. I felt like everyone was watching me. All the old timers sitting in their chairs watching the newbie back into the spot. I didn't hit anything or have any major issues. I had to get over the fear of what people think and just jump in. We wanted to talk through from beginning to end of the newbie experience.
