Dr. Cory Jenks, PharmD is a pharmacist, improv comedian and speaker currently practicing as an Ambulatory Care Clinical Pharmacy Specialist.

Cory has taught, coached, and performed improv comedy for thousands of people. Along the way, he realized that by making himself a better listener, teammate, and empathizer (among many other applicable skills), improv made him a better provider of healthcare. 

Now Cory speaks, teaches, trains, and consults on the application of improv comedy to healthcare. By providing in person and virtual talks and workshops on applying the skills of improv comedy, he helps healthcare professionals develop the adaptability and resiliency needed to thrive in the healthcare environment. Cory teaches healthcare professionals how to be more empathetic and create an overall more humanizing healthcare experience by using the same skills as he has as an improv comedian. Additionally, Cory provides consulting to help healthcare organizations apply the skills of improvisational comedy for their employees and trainees.
