Meet Lauryn Bergert. Lauryn Bergert (she/her) is a current doctoral student at Roosevelt University, pursuing her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology. She is a 2021 graduate of Dominican University, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Black World Studies. Lauryn came to find her passion for fighting for social justice during her undergraduate career. She is a social justice activist fighting for all human rights—racial equity, reproductive rights, affordable access to resources, destigmatizing mental health, and so much more. Social justice work goes far beyond protesting and organizing, and Lauryn works to show people the different avenues of fighting the good fight, no matter what your strengths may be.
Lauryn has recently launched a podcast entitled, “Happy You’re Here: A Podcast with Lauryn Bergert,” which is a safe space for people to share their experiences and journeys of navigating this world.
