Piero Zagami is an independent information designer based in Amsterdam, where he runs his own studio after a decade working with Information is Beautiful, Signal Noise, and Beyond Words. His practice spans pharmaceutical, technology, nonprofit, and research clients. His work has been recognised at the Kantar Information is Beautiful Awards and featured in books including Knowledge Is Beautiful and The Book of Circles.

Design is one third of what he does. He also fosters the data design community — running the Amsterdam Data Design Den meetups and organizing dataviz conferences including Visualized (Milan 2017) and Encode (London 2019). He co-founded Market Cafe Magazine and, most recently, serves as print editor at Nightingale.

He has taught data visualization at Ravensbourne College and London College of Communication in the UK and ArtEZ University of the Arts in the Netherlands, and regularly runs workshops for organizations and universities. 

Natalie Moore is the CEO of Apps for Good.

Natalie’s journey with Apps for Good began in 2013, when she stepped into the role of Education Outreach and Development Coordinator - quickly becoming a driving force behind the charity’s growth. Today, as CEO, she stands at its helm, guiding its direction with determination and a deep-rooted passion for equity and opportunity in education.

Her story, however, began even earlier. At just 18, Natalie joined the School Leaver Programme as an International Education Programme Coordinator at the London Organising Committee of the Olympic & Paralympic Games. There, she played a hands-on role in bringing the London 2012 education programme, Get Set, to life - connecting with schools across the UK and beyond, and building lasting relationships.

At the heart of Natalie’s work is a simple but powerful conviction: that education should open doors for every young person, regardless of their background or starting point. She is driven to create pathways where potential is realised, creativity is nurtured, and young people develop the confidence and agency to shape their own futures.

In 2024, her impact was recognised when she was named #21 in Computer Weekly’s list of the ‘Most Influential Women in Tech’.

Valentina D’Efilippo is a data designer, author, and educator. 

She co-authored The Infographic History of the World – now published in 11 languages—and more recently created Britannica’s Encyclopedia Infographica, a visual encyclopedia for children featuring over 250 infographics.

Her portfolio spans collaborations with startups, publishers, global brands, and cultural institutions, with projects showcased in books, exhibitions, and museum collections. She has delivered talks at TEDx, taught at Columbia Business School, and led workshops for organisations such as Spotify, Pfizer, and the European Parliament.

Outside of her client work and teaching, Valentina can often be found sketching ideas, mapping personal data, or spending time with her children.

Michael is a Designer, Facilitator, and Creative Data Strategist, and currently leads the Interaction Design Programme at Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design (CIID). With just over two decades of experience working in cross-disciplinary teams across the cultural, educational, and social impact sectors, his work centers on research, social impact, and community-based design interventions.

Prior to joining (CIID), Michael helped establish Data4Change as a non-profit organisation. Data4Change works with a wide array of civil society organisations, activists, human rights defenders, and creative talent, collaborating at the intersection of data, design, technology, and journalism to forge real change and lasting impact. Before that, he served as Design Director at data and design studio Beyond Words Studio (formerly Information is Beautiful Studio) in London.

Earlier in his career, Michael ran his own studio and design collective in Rotterdam, the Netherlands — ContentContext — where he also taught Graphic Design at the Willem de Kooning Academy and lectured in the Fashion department on design, communication, and lifestyle trends. Prior to founding his own studio, he worked as a designer at MGMT. Design and Tsang Seymour Design in New York City and Winterhouse Studio.

Across these roles, he has had the opportunity to work on and lead projects for organisations including the UN, World Bank, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Google, the Guggenheim Museum, MoMA, the New York Times, Cooper Hewitt, Al Gore, and Queen Sirikit of Thailand, among others.

Sebastien Jouhans is a Technology Director with over 20 years of experience creating digital experiences and platform solutions for global brands including Microsoft, EY, Nike, and HP. At Jack Morton, he bridges creativity and innovation to craft immersive, connected, and data-driven brand experiences.

His deep passion and expertise in spatial and physical computing, the Internet of Things, and machine learning enable him to design applications, products, and services that blur the lines between people and technology. Sebastien thrives at the intersection of creativity and emerging technology, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to inject cutting-edge thinking at the heart of every idea. From spatial computing to AI-powered interactions, his work helps brands stay relevant in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

London-based algorithmic artist Shadi El Hajj is exploring the edge of complexity and symbolic imagination.

For over two decades, he´s developed intricate algorithms inspired by physical laws, biological growth, complex systems, and chaotic dynamics. Drawing on archaic archetypes and symbolic structures, his wonderful work traces the contours of the computational sublime.

His practice spans commercial commissions for global brands to digital dance performances presented at festivals worldwide.

Caroline Nitsch is a multi-disciplinary creative director with nearly two decades of experience working across the UK, the US, and Canada, shaping global fashion and digital campaigns. She started her career at NET-A-PORTER, where early exposure to e-commerce and digital storytelling shaped how I think about brands. Since then, she has worked at the intersection of creativity and technology; working on shoots with supermodels, building complex digital ecosystems, co-founding an AI company and pushing visual storytelling forward. She is known for a sharp eye and a systems-level way of thinking, with a 360° approach that balances concept, craft, and execution. She says ' believe great creative work comes from looking beyond the lens — creating unexpected connections, merging worlds, and finding a clear voice in the noise´.

Márcio Fábio Leite holds a Master’s degree in Design from UAL–LCC / London College of Communication. He is the author of Geração Pixelada (“Pixelated Generation”), a design research methodology exploring youth subcultures, social networks, and the consumer industry. He specialises in developing narratives and strategies for brands, products, and services through collaborative design approaches, particularly design thinking methods.

Throughout his career, he has worked with major companies such as AMBEV, Philip Morris, O Boticário, Marisol, Johnson & Johnson, TIM, Nestlé, Visa, and Sebrae. At the Globosat channels and Globo media goup, he implemented and led an innovation lab, developing service design projects and systemic innovation operations with major consumer brands, internal teams, advertisers, and commercial partners.

He is also a lecturer and speaker, currently teaching at IED-Istituto Europeo di Design and working as an independent consultant at Doisemes Design®, supporting startups and companies that are innovative and socially responsible.
