#MarvinWynn (and a special guest) will join us this Friday at 9 PM EST to talk about #Heroineburgh and #TheEdge

Heroineburgh takes place in a science-based universe. A rare handful of people across the planet have already developed superhuman powers due to a process called epigenetics, whereby physiology can be augmented through willpower amplifying genetic expression. These people are dubbed “epihumans” by the scientists of the day. One night above the skies of Pittsburgh, an unusual meteor explodes, releasing a massive wave of dark energy that activates dormant epigenes in hundreds of citizens. These people develop various powers based on their own desires and interests. The dark energy exhibits a proclivity for the XX chromosome, so the majority of the new superpowered beings are female.

#JenniferMeinking is a small business owner that wears many hats, including mama to ten incredible kids. When her oldest children were small, she transitioned from an online boutique to a website optimization business, which she owned and operated until the demand became too great for her growing family. It was not long before she found her entrepreneurial spirit needed an outlet, leading her to start a direct selling business that she still maintains. When her dormant inner author demanded a “seat at the table,” she simply scooched over and made a little more room. Often mislabeled a “supermom,” Jennifer is merely a doggedly determined woman with an overactive imagination, a thirst for adventure, and a life that is rarely boring. Boring? With ten kids? Sheesh, I'm lost with one!

They are the co-creators of a new slice of life comedy comic, Social Studies. Our first issue came out this past January and we are releasing issues monthly.

Social Studies follows a group of friends through their High School experiences, and all the weirdness that goes along with it. Largely inspired by our own experiences and enhanced through the prism of the 90’s era cartoons we grew up on.
