The Credible Nerds

Join your hosts, Justin and Marc, with special guest, Harry, for a Credible Nerds exclusive Avengers podcast episode as we talk Captain America: The First Avenger in our Avenger's Review series. We review the film that starts the Avenger's story and see how The Avengers begin to assemble.

Join the Credible Nerds, Marc and Justin, as we revisit one of our favorite epic fantasy series - The Wheel of Time. We are a family friendly Wheel of Time podcast that you can listen to with your kids as you raise them right with the Wheel of Time! In this episode we discuss the latest Wheel of Time news as new episode titles are announced!

We then review Chapters 27-32 in Book 1 of The Wheel of Time, The Eye of the World. We keep it mostly spoiler (minor spoilers only) free as we talk steddings, Whitecloaks, and playing the flute for your dinner.  We then lift the spoiler free ban and discuss the Children of the Light and what they are all about. Are they the good guys, because they walk in the Light, or are they bad because they like to torture Darkfriends? You can listen and decide as we breakdown their history and their influence with other nations and kingdoms.

We also talk about what happens to the Whitecloaks after the Last Battle and what happens to Rand, Mat, and Perrin's Ta'veren-ness (is that a word?). Are they still ta'veren, does the Wheel still need them?

Join the Credible Nerds, Marc and Justin, as we revisit one of our favorite epic fantasy series - The Wheel of Time. We are a family friendly Wheel of Time podcast that you can listen to with your kids as you raise them right with the WoT!

In this episode we discuss the latest Wheel of Time news as a new director is announced for the first two episodes and Brandon Sanderson stops by the WoT writers room. We then review Chapters 21-26 in Book 1 of The Wheel of Time, The Eye of the World. We keep it mostly spoiler (minor spoilers only) free as we talk Bayle Doman, Whitebridge, and wolves!

We then lift the spoiler free ban and discuss the differences between angreal, sa'angreal, and ter'angreal.

The Credible Nerds review the film 'Glass' and how it completes the trilogy started with Unbreakable, way back in 2000. Is it a worthy conclusion? Will there be a sequel? How did characters from 2000 hold up to characters in 2019? Is it a superhero film? We talk about these questions and more!

The Nerds loved this film and thought it a good break from the usual superhero films from Marvel and DC and encourage you to see it for yourselves!

The Credible Nerds are starting a new podcast series - More Than Meets The Eye - A Transformers Podcast. Join Justin and guest host - Kimball, as we breakdown this latest film in the Transformers film universe, Bumblebee: The Movie. Initially billed as a prequel to the Michael Bay films that started in 2007, we discuss the film and is it really a prequel to those films or not? How well does it fit in with the rest of the Transformers films? What did we like about it, and was it worth seeing? *definitely!

Join us as we talk Bumblebee and the Transformers!
