The Creepcast with Bri & Ber

This week Bri & Ber breakaway from the norm and review the horror movie Sinister! They go over it's plot, how white people can't resist snooping through dead people's home videos, and ponder why the hell a demon prefers super 8 film reels. Austin also decides to try to educate Bri about the film Gattaca, but then later offends her with his lack of Lord of the Rings knowledge.

This week Bri & Ber learn about one of the most well known houses in the US, the Winchester Mansion (Mystery House). They discuss what drives Sarah Winchester to build this home, it's intricately strange layout, and how it's creation has influenced pop culture. As well as getting sidetracked with educating Austin about the first season of the American Horror Story series.

This week Bri & Ber explore the history of one of Egypts most well known Gods, Anubis. They go over his many titles, how his story has shifted throughout history, and how his representation in pop culture is completely opposite of his true role. It they can't talk Egypt with out getting slightly distracted about the Mummy franchise!

This week Bri & Ber look into the strange story of a ghost child from Japan, the Zashiki-Warashi. They learn about its potentially dark origins, what to expect when one resides in your home, and how it is found in quite a bit of pop culture today.

This week Bri & Ber go over one of the oldest inns in England, the Mermaid Inn! They go over it's history, it's affiliation with the Hawkhurst gang, and the many hauntings that guests have experienced while visiting the Inn. All while Bri struggles with her mixed feelings about tunnels and secret rooms.

This week Bri & Ber learn about an Islamic creature that inspired one of the many summons from Final Fantasy, the Ifrit! They go over it's origins, it's appearances in Islamic folklore, and how it continues to appear today in pop culture. All while trying to avoid the recording equipment's assaults on Ber.

This week Bri & Ber bring you a multitude of different cryptids! Starting with the Grassman, a more aggressive version of Bigfoot that hangs out in pits playing with trash. Next they learn about the Fresno Nightcrawler, a possible alien like creature with no arms. Lastly they learn about another insect human hybrid, the Mantis Man! And naturally all the codes are cracked.

This week Bri & Ber look into an Albanian monster that is said to cause storms, the Kulshedra. They go over it's origins, how they evolve over the years, and their on going war with warriors and saints. As well as discovering Bri's odd way to learn how to pronounce words.

This week Bri & Ber discover a creature from Chinese folklore that guard your home from negative energies and promotes wealth, the Pixiu! They go over the differences between male and female, their origins, and how to properly place them in your home.

This week Bri and Ber continue their exploration on the mysterious Mari Lwyd tradition. They discuss it's coverage in different regions, the tradition's revival in the 20th century, and how it still appears in some cultures today. Naturally while plotting on all the crazy ways they could bring it to the States.
