There is still real, life-changing power in the name of Jesus—and it can meet your deepest need today.

In Acts 3–4, a lame beggar is healed “in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth,” turning an ordinary day into a moment of transformation and worship. Peter shows that money, religion, and self-help can’t do what Jesus alone does: forgive sin, change hearts, and give us a new identity.

That miracle becomes a bridge to the message. Peter calls people to repent, turn to God, and receive “times of refreshing” in Jesus’ name, even as religious leaders push back against the exclusive claim that “there is no other name…by which we must be saved.” We’re sent to carry His name into our homes, schools, workplaces, and neighborhoods.
