Just two people going through the motions of ‘well I will answer these questions b/c you all are bitching about it but I don’t want to be here’ is what I got from it.
Neither one of them is likable or inspirational.
Her candidacy will not get a boost from this interview.
She had these answers memorized you could just tell.

The complete and now total betrayal of the pro-life cause is just stunning.

He discusses IVF and the Prop 4 in Florida.
He stated he would make all insurance companies pay for IVF.
I’m just yelling at the screen ready to throw in the white towel of surrender.
You have the editor of Crisis Magazine leading the charge on JD Vance being denied Holy Communion on this one.
You can’t support IVF and receive Communion.
Holy Mother Church is very very clear on IVF.
This is a moral doctrine and teaching.
This is 100% an unforced error.
The pro-abort women will not support you Trump.

He went beyond the Obama promise even yesterday.
He said the government would pay for it all.
That means if I am a W-2 wage person, I am subsidizing the killing of embryos.
IVF clinics do not report the exact number of embryos that are killed in their care, but clinics normally extract between 10 and 15 eggs for one treatment. According to the IVF clinic chain Illume Fertility, if the clinic extracts 12 eggs, about 80% — nine or 10 eggs — will be viable and about 80% of viable eggs will successfully fertilize to create embryos — making about seven or eight embryos per patient.
The CDC estimates that more than 238,000 patients attempted IVF in 2021. If clinics created between seven and eight embryos for every patient, that would yield about 1.6 million to 1.9 million over a year. Despite these high numbers, fewer than 100,000 embryos were brought to term, which suggests that somewhere between 1.5 million and 1.8 million embryos created through IVF were never born.
Alternatively, the abortion industry claimed about 985,000 lives from July 2022 through June 2023 — suggesting that the IVF industry could be ending nearly twice as many human lives every year.

IUI is not the same as IVF.
IUI or Intrauterine Insemination - a type of artificial insemination, is a fertility treatment where sperm is placed directly into a person's uterus. During a natural conception, sperm has to travel from your vagina through your cervix, into your uterus and to your fallopian tubes.
A general IVF session, typically there are 10-15 eggs extracted at that one time.
Those are babies, if life begins at conception, you have created life.
I know a set of triplets conceived out of IVF.
The rest of the eggs that are fertilized are babies, that is life created.
Say I’m speaking to someone and their child was conceived by IVF, I am not making fun of you, we are not going backwards in time we must move forward.
Nothing good ever comes from this.
You have to store the embryos for long periods of time and that is expensive.

Someone should ask JD Vance what he thinks about this new campaign promise.
The government has no money.
This means every taxed employee under the Trump administration will be taxed directly for IVF.

So in the argument of things if you said we will pay for IVF w/ a tax on wine or tequila that would be an indirect tax.
Congress was only granted the authority to pass INDIRECT taxes.
The power to tax in Article 1 Section 8 is very clear.
Article 1 Section 8 : The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States; . . .
The power to tax something indirectly means you can avoid it.
This is an important difference.
Now you may be able to get it all back in the form of a refund.
At the very least your money is being confiscated throughout the course of the year to kill babies.
You can’t avoid that tax.

The pro-life movement wasn't anything approaching a majority and hasn't been for nearly a decade plus if not further, going back to 2015 and the left's decisive victory in the culture war. You can bemoan that, condemn it, and refuse to accept it, but you need to deal with actual electoral politics where they actually are as opposed to where you would prefer them to be from the 1980s to the Bush administration if you are running a political movement.
The entirety of pro-life politics after Dobbs was a master class in how not to run a movement. Rather than recognize the electoral realities and adapt to them, there was instead a clear attempt to implement laws, standards, and mores that were never going to prevail under current demographics, particularly in a hostile media and cultural environment. This is going to be true for any serious attempt to achieve cultural reversals, so the idea that this is limited to abortion politics is laughable. Exactly which conservative cultural cause can be championed without this kind of resistance?
The idea that this dooms the right in electoral terms is cope. Trump already has his personality cult, a solid 40% of the GOP, that will support more or less anything he wants. The pro-life movement is unable to muster the ability to achieve its preferred results in electoral terms in even the reddest of red states.
