On a late night in 1938, night watchman Mark Shackleman was making his rounds at St. Coletta Convent in Racine, Michigan. To his horror, he came face-to-face with what he described as a black-haired, dog-headed humanoid with long claws and it smelled like death. He said it was kneeling and scratching at a Native American Indian burial mound near the convent, and when Shackleman approached the creature, it fled into the night. The next night, while Shackleman was on duty, he returned to the location to find the creature clawing at the mound once again. This time, it didn’t flee. It stood up on two legs, made eye contact, and spoke one word, “Gadarah.”

What exactly did he encounter near the convent grounds those two nights? Jessica was tasked with the encounter as a coordinate remote viewing target and discusses the data for this and other targets involving dogmen near Indian burial mounds here!

On this episode of “A Glitch in the Matrix,” Jessica explores strange anomalies pertaining to the interstellar object 3I/ATLAS, possible alien probes, and NASA cover-ups with Author John Vandeventer and Nikki Johnson!

John was born in Dallas Texas in 1958 and was raised in Plano Texas, where he enjoyed the classic American childhood in those days. In 1978, John's lifelong interest in military aviation led him to enlist in the United States Air Force. John served for 16 years as a crew chief on F-111 and A-10 aircraft. He also spent two years as a USAF Disaster Preparedness Specialist, where he practiced Emergency Management and taught classes on Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Warfare Defense. During his time in the Air Force, John was stationed in Austin Texas, Oxfordshire England, Tucson Arizona, and Valdosta Georgia. John attained the rank of Technical Sergeant. When the military was being downsized in 1994, John opted to leave and seek life as a civilian.

John's lifelong love of military aviation history also sparked an interest in UFOs. Both subjects led John to be an avid reader. When John started writing the first edition of Relics in 2015, John found he had enjoyment in writing too. In 2018 John and his wife Monica moved to Honobia, Oklahoma, which is nestled in a small valley surrounded by the Kiamichi Mountains. The area is known as the heart of Oklahoma Bigfoot Country, so many of the local areas find their way into John's novels. John retired in 2022 to pursue his dream of being a writer.

In addition to writing and publishing the Relics book series and his youth novel series, Shadow Chasers, John recently created a new podcast called “Cross-Over Cryptids” with this co-host Nikki Johnson and they join Jessica to discuss recent developments in the 3I/ATLAS interstellar object, alien probes, cryptids and more!

Deep in the Appalachian Mountains, tales of the black wolf and the wolfman have been told for centuries, with sightings and encounters happening up through present-day. There is one terrifying phantom-like, nocturnal hunter, that is known to prey on livestock, wildlife, and occasionally lost hikers who wander into its territory. This creature is known as the Smoke Wolf. Encounters with these creatures are rare, but reports state that they are a large, wolf-like creature with dark fur and glowing red eyes. It also possesses the ability to morph into a swirling cloud of smoke when they choose, making it nearly impossible to track or capture.

Some witnesses describe it as a shapeshifter or spirit, while others see it as a physical, predatory beast with a thirst for blood. It has a demonic howl that’s more like a scream and the only way to keep it from mauling something or someone is to rattle chains at it as it approaches. What exactly is the Smoke Wolf? Jessica was tasked with this Appalachian as a coordinate remote viewing target and discusses the data here with Dr. Dennis Carroll.
