The Cryptid Huntress

In October of 1903, several prominent and respected men in the town of Van Meter, Iowa, reported they had each encountered an 8' tall, winged creature that terrorized some of the town's residents over the course of a week. The description of the beast included having large bat-like wings, it shot bright light out of a horn on its head, and it left a horrible smell wherever it went. The creature was shot at, but the bullets had little effect on the flying beast. A group of men gathered to hunt the beast down and when two of the creatures emerged from an abandoned coal mine, they quickly disappeared back into the mine, never to be seen again.

Is this just a local legend, or did these creatures truly exist? Jessica was tasked with this remote viewing target and reveals her data on the Van Meter Monster here! For full access to Jessica's raw remote viewing data, join her Patreon here - https://Patreon.com/thecryptidhuntress

Giant in the Stone Doorway of Santiam State Forest, Oregon

Around October 23rd, a man and his wife claimed to encounter a giant humanoid on the side of a mountain on Quartzville Drive in Santiam State Forest in Oregon. He claimed that a stone door opened on the side of the mountain and a giant peered out of a small window at him after the stone door shut. He posted a video about his encounter on TikTok shortly after the incident, showing the exact location and claiming a door opened up and he saw a giant human. He posted updates later, saying he and a group returned to the location, and were followed by white government vehicles, which he and his wife ditched after they sped off on the mountain roads. The door was 60'-80' tall & 60'-80' across in a wedge shape.

He and his wife hid their vehicle and hiked up the hillside to examine the doorway. High strangeness occurred, including a large limb fell far from a tree, causing a large rock to roll down the hill. The event scared them, causing them to not want to return. However, the white vehicles continue to follow him around town.

Was this a legit giant sighting or a stunt for views on social media? Find out here! On this episode of "A Glith in the Matrix," Jessica discusses the Elkins Creek Bigfoot with Molena City Clerk & Molena Bigfoot Fest organizer Tina Lee.

One of the most well-known Bigfoot cases in Georgia is the Elkins Creek Bigfoot from 1994. Frankly, it's one of the best-known cases in the entire Bigfoot community. For two weeks, a farmer living on Elkins Creek was experiencing strange noises, missing dogs, missing livestock, and banging on his home late at night. He contacted local law enforcement, who found no culprit. But later, after the farmer's barn door was ripped off its hinges, a sheriff's deputy investigated, finding large bi-pedal footprints and he casted one of them, which is now known as the Elkins Creek Bigfoot. The Elkins Creek Bigfoot cast shows what could be sasquatch dermatoglyphics, according to Jimmy Chilcutt. Dr. Jeff Meldrum is credited with finding indications of anatomical features that are consistent with those of other apes.

Tina Lee is the City Clerk of Molena, Georgia, home to Elkins Creek and the infamous Elkins Creek Bigfoot. The 2nd Annual Molena Bigfoot Fest is being held on Saturday, November 18th. In recent years, videos of suspected Skinwalkers have made the rounds on social media and around the world. From a creepy man crawling out of the woods and approaching a vehicle as the men drove away, to disembodied voices spooking horses and unsuspecting hikers. Jessica has remote viewed some of these cases and the results are creepy, perhaps leaving more questions than answers.

A Skinwalker is a “witch” that committed unspeakable acts to obtain the power to “change their shape into an animal in order to do harm." They mimic sounds that might draw someone’s attention, like the voice of a loved one or a stranger that might be in trouble, in order to lure their defenseless victims to their death. It’s often personal, akin to having a hex put upon you, and they exist primarily on Native American reservations. The Skinwalker is a deeply terrifying figure for Indigenous peoples, and their threat is taken very seriously.

After a week of Bigfoot/Cryptid boots-on-the-ground field research, The Cryptid Huntress & Long Island Bigfoot Mike each discuss their experiences and updates in the field from the cryptid-rich forests of Georgia to the dense woods of New York.

Long Island Bigfoot Mike grew up in Long Island, NY. Between 2007 to 2011, Mike served in the Army and spent a year in Afghanistan. While the impact of what he experienced is something he works on healing every day, searching for Bigfoot brings Mike peace and relief from the effects of PTSD. Walking through a primary stretch of forest paramount to his research known as "Bubba's House," he became familiar with his surroundings for five years before he began documenting any activity. Uncertain of what he was actually experiencing, he took some time before he spoke out on his findings. Mike realized he was observing similar activity to what other researchers were reporting. Mike began documenting via video and photography, his interactions with Bigfoot and their families. Mike has also observed other entities and anomalies in the woods of Long Island and the Catskill Mountains. He enjoys, and has much respect for, being put in the position of the sasquatch to connect our peoples together. He looks forward to sharing his experiences with the Cryptid Huntress!

On this episode of "A Glitch in the Matrix," Long Island Bigfoot Mike joins Jessica to discuss his Dogman encounters in Long Island, New York.

Long Island Bigfoot Mike grew up in Long Island, NY, and was always intrigued by wildlife, oceanic creatures, and dinosaurs. These interests were the foundation which propelled Mike's research and curiosity for cryptids later in life. With a fascination for whales and the Lochness Monster, Mike would frequently ask his family to visit Scotland to search for Nessie. Between 2007 to 2011. Mike served in the Army and spent a year in Afghanistan. While the impact of what he experienced is something he works on healing every day, searching for Bigfoot brings Mike peace and relief from the effects of PTSD.
