One afternoon, while hiking with her mother and brother, young Heidi ran ahead on the trail, only to witness something extraordinary. Two large figures bolted across the path before disappearing into the dense forest. As she froze in place, the distant sound of a grizzly bear rumbled through the trees. But what truly stunned her wasn’t the bear—it was the towering figure peeking out from behind a tree. It was Bigfoot.

To her surprise, she felt no fear. Instead, she had the overwhelming sense that the creature meant her no harm—perhaps even that it was protecting her from the grizzly. Unsure of what else to do, Heidi simply waved and said, "Hi, Mr. Bigfoot." In response, the creature let out what she could only describe as a laugh. Then, as her family rounded the bend, Bigfoot was gone.
