Careful What you wish for – What are the Jinn?

Ever heard the old saying “be careful what you wish for, you just might get it?” Well who are granting these 3 wishes? And where did this mythology originate? Remember “I Dream of Jeanie”? I Dream of Jeannie is an American sitcom starring Barbara Eden as a 2,000-year-old genie and Larry Hagman (before he was JR) as an astronaut who becomes her master, with whom she falls in love and whom she eventually marries. Produced by Screen Gems, the show originally aired from September 18, 1965 to May 26, 1970 with new episodes, and through September 1970 with season repeats, both on NBC. The show ran for five seasons and produced 139 episodes. I loved that show! I loved the main character, Jeanie, but I loved her mother Esmarelda, and her evil twin sister Sabrina. I seem to always love the villain and most of us do, something primal about us humans I suppose.

If we are to believe that we have been visited by aliens we have to also wonder what their motive is. Every intelligent creature has a motive as to why they do things. DEFINITION OF AN NDE

A near-death experience (NDE) is a profound psychological event  that may occur to a person close to death or, if not near death, in a situation of physical or emotional crisis. Because it includes transcendental and mystical elements, an NDE is a powerful event of consciousness; it is not mental illness. 1

Whether happening “truly near death” or under benign circumstances, the near-death experience contains powerful images and emotions, usually of peace and love though sometimes terror, despair, guilt. An NDE may include an out-of-body experience and vivid perceptions of movement, light, darkness; encounters with deceased loved ones, unfamiliar entities and/or spiritual presences; sometimes a life review, a landscape, a sense of overpowering knowledge and purpose. The aftereffects of an NDE or related experience are enduring, often powerful, and may be life-altering.

Happy Father's Day! Fathers are important. I know single mothers like to boast about being superwomen and not needing a man, and for some that may be true. But what a little girl needs in her life is her father. Tonight we will discuss how not having a father in a child's life, particuliarly, a girl's life can cause serious consequences to how she matures into a woman.

We are hearing so many news stories about yet another rape victim. The latest is the Stanford college student who raped an unconscious woman behind a dumpster. There were eye witnesses and yet he got off on a 3 month sentencing. This occured because the judge was an alumni of Stanford and felt that a real sentence would ruin this boy's life. This is appalling! 

We must stop our young men from growing up to think that if a girl seems willing or is drunk then she is "FAIR GAME"! Where do they get this idea? It goes all the way back to the scarlet letter where the girl is blamed for the man's violence. Rape is a VIOLENT act!! Sex is the Weapon of choice! Want to comment on this?
