On this week's episode, I dive into the role we as CT technologists and the importance of that role. I give some points on the demand of our modality, how necessary communication and collaboration is and the future of CT with AI integration.
Topics discussed in the episode:
Overview of The CT Tech's Role: operating the scanner, injector, reviewing orderings, verifying labs, allergies, prior exams, etc. preparing patients for the scan, patient centering, getting a quality exam, proper patient care.
Modality is in high demand, we see many patients during all shifts and 90% of radiology exams are CT.
