March 13, 2020 Louisville Metro Police Department  officers Jonathan Mattingly, Brett Hankison, and Myles Cosgrove killed Breonna Taylor while executing a no-knock search warrant. The LMPD officers fired over twenty shots hitting Taylor eight times. The police filed an incident report that stated that Taylor had no injuries and that no forced entry occurred. The police department said that technical errors led to a nearly entirely blank malformed report. All three are still free.
