Authentic (adj)- Not false or imitation

Fauxthentic (adj)- An appearance of Authentic

Authenticity comes up a lot, we are craving it more and more. We want it in our daily lives, in our relationships, in our interactions, in our images, in the brands we buy, in the brands we sell, in the people we admire.

What has become more popular though, is images of authenticity. Which makes me ask, why do we think our authentic selves are not enough?
