In 2015, a post on Korean forum site Pann started to gain traction due to its peculiar contents. In it, Lee Jung Hee, a woman in her 40s, claimed that she and her 2 sons had been forced into prostitution by her husband, and that she was seeking justice. 

In just a short period of time, word of this story spread, catching the attention of netizens and various news outlets alike. However, when Lee and her sons were invited to appear for a televised interview, it was clear that there was something else going on.
