Patrick is the founder of Momentous Building and drives the ship of a highly skilled team of builders.

Patrick was raised in the construction industry and is a 3rd generation contractor out of Westchester, NY.

He secured his engineering degree in college and worked in commercial construction in Manhattan, but realized his purpose wouldn’t be fulfilled until he created his own company to deliver the customer’s dreams.

Patrick is now going into his second year in business, has seen huge growth in this short period of time and has many lessons to share with you.

On today’s show, we are honored to sit down and chat with the incredible Stefan Joens.

Stefan is the president/CEO of Elnik Systems a Global Industrial furnace manufacturer, Vice President of DSH Technologies process engineering and metallurgical service organization, and owner/chief wood worker at SJ Wood Company a high-end wood art manufacturer. Stefan is also an original Arete member.

Stefan started his working life with his family business Elnik at the age of 14, working through all areas of the business as a utility style team support member performing a variety of tasks in the stockroom, machine shop, assembly, shipping/receiving, and engineering.

Shifting career focus to finance, he later graduated from the University of Delaware with a business degree focused on finance and economics and spent 4 years working as a financial planner for individuals and businesses.

After much learning both financially and personally, but not really satisfying the technical side of his brain, he rejoined his family business working through all areas of customer service, field service, operations, general management and now leads the organization with a passion for education and support to the metal part making industries and the company’s employees.

He spent 6 months improving his technical processing knowledge working at the Fraunhofer Institute in Bremen, Germany alongside many research and development colleagues.

We are incredibly grateful for the time Stefan gave us to come on the show and share his expertise in leadership, team building and passion for all the projects he has on his plate.

What is the easiest way to make a sale?

To answer this question, let's first think about what makes a bad salesman.
