Today’s feature focuses on Lajee Celtic, a Football academy based in Aida Refugee Camp.
Managed locally by the Lajee Centre and supported internationally by the Green Brigade, the mission of Lajee Celtic is simple and powerful: to provide young Palestinian refugees with a fully equipped and professionally supported footballing environment.
We spoke to Mac and Mohammad Alazza, director of the Lajee Centre, about the history and foundation of Lajee Celtic and the important work that they are carrying out.
We discuss the Lajee Center in Aida Refugee Camp in Bethlehem and the relationship between the centre and the Green Brigade.
