The hobby of card collecting and sport of baseball is well written about. Over the last month Matt has dove headfirst into some light reading about both subjects and figured it was time to talk about it. We've got three books about cards, the hobby, and the evolution into a business, and two on the wonder of baseball, with one through pitching and the other being one of the most well known baseball novels ever. Plus Matt pops open a different set of cards, 2022 Panini Diamond Kings, and a Don't Pass Gose from Ship Bottom Brewery, a nice mix of fruit meets pucker.

The Flyers are totally out of the playoffs, so Matt reviews what they need to do in order to get back to the playoffs. He's power ranking the positions they need to focus on, outside of hiring a new coach. Plus he stresses how this is the best time to introduce anyone to hockey, even those who have never liked it. Then we're got Good Game, a common post game phrase, and also a cream ale from Axe and Arrow that has orange and vanilla that benefits local little league. For the card pull we've got an 89-90 Score collection and we display some of the fun from our new favorite app.

The Sixers are out of it, the Flyers are nowhere close to it, and the Phillies are in their early season meh period, so it is time to break down the off season moves made by the Eagles, the draft picks, and some undrafted free agency moves.

It's been a tough slog for Philly sports lately. Only some classic down home ravioli could fix it. Eating on a podcast is a bad idea, so we're trying the beer version from Carton Brewing called Rav. We'll see how well that washes down the disaster from the Flyers, the Phillies being locked out, the Sixers growing pains, and the Eagles being confusing.

Well well well, football season is upon us. We're breaking down some key concerns over the Eagles start, and the value of their top rookie's card. Plus we've got some Flyers talk, Ben Simmons, and a brand new beer. This one is from Pipeworks Brewing Company and is called Run Deep. It's a calamansi sour wit. Calamansi is a fruit I'd pretty much never heard of.
