Accountability! a topic that seems to be missed in a lot of conversations this year. As we have gone on dealing with shutdowns, and mandates, and politicians telling us what we should do, there are more than ever not being held accountable for their actions. As parents to your children it is up to us to teach and lead by example. One of the biggest keys o a fulfilled life is being accountable for your actions. You will take pride in your wins, and learn from your losses. We see every day these politicians that are breaking their own mandates, and not being held accountable. That is not the future we want to raise our children in. It doesn't take much to learn this, but it does take a lot of practice to be always holding yourself accountable. We hope you enjoy the episode and don't forget to refer a friend and leave your rating and review. Practice What You Preach!! as parents, leaders, business owners, and husbands we need to listen very carefully to these words. We all know that person that will say one thing and do the opposite, and here in California we are dealing with a governor doing just that. It sparked the conversation about how you lose any authority when you are seen doing the opposite of what you say. Kids are especially good at soaking up what we do more than what we say. Todays episode is very in depth and we try to cover this topic as well as we can and hope that it will help you navigate through the struggles that we can have as parents raising young kids. We hope you enjoy the episode and don't forget to refer a friend and leave your rating and review. Are you growing up or growing old? Seems like a simple question but the answer can be very hard to nail down. When it comes to being a parent part of our job is to play and help our children grow and learn in the process. But there are many parents out there that don't take the time, or are unable to do that. This raises the question, are you growing up playing and teaching and supporting your children? Or are you growing old and standing in the background hoping others will fill that position for you without ever doing your full part. We don't mean to come after anyone in this episode, but rather open your mind to the type of parent you are and to help us all raise a better generation. We hope you enjoy the episode and don't forget to refer a friend and leave your rating and review. Part 2 to our What Are Your Vises episode is now live. Last week we started on the conversation on what are some vises that really control your life. It all started from a simple statement the Corey made about giving up energy drinks, and we spent almost 1.5 hours on this topic. There is a lot that we covered and in case you missed it, listen to last weeks episode before this one to get the whole conversation. We had a lot of fun recording this episode as it makes us look into our own life and see what is really controlling us and making decisions for us. There is something so powerful when you make the decision to own your life. It sounds simple, and for some it is. But the action of owning your life can be the hardest endeavor you will ever take. Today Corey and I talk about owning your decisions, actions, consequences and rewards. We have both made the decision to take ownership and it has been the best decision for us ever. Its something that we will teach our children as they grow and become their own person. When you own your life it means that you are in total control and you don't wait for someone else to do the work for you. You can accomplish so many great things and we want to share some of the habits and choices we have made in our own lives. Our ultimate goal is to help others and we really hope that todays conversation inspires you to take ownership!
