  • Ep.13 - Robbie Bent - The Dad Strength Podcast

Robbie Bent’s entrepreneurial journey is legendary. His career began with private equity and hedge-funds. But he was chasing the wrong kind of recognition and success. By his mid-20s he was struggling with addiction and a failing startup. After crashing completely, he reset his life. Meditation, psychedelic medicine, and other inner-work changed things completely. Meanwhile, he began working full-time for the Ethereum Foundation. During this period, he began to explore breathwork and the benefits of hot and cold exposure. What began as a way to socialize in a healthy way rapidly grew into a community. For Robbie, it was clear that there was a greater need for this type of inner-work. This led to the creation of Othership.

This interview takes us through his journey and into the heart of a rapidly growing startup. As a bonus, it also includes a guided breathwork session.

Ryan is a systems thinker, former nutrition expert, and activist. He is also a verifiably good human and someone who has walked the walk—from competitive bodybuilding to volunteering.

He lays down clear, thoughtful methods without ever once asking you to compromise on your sweet, sweet gains.

He’s completed training to be a registered dietician. He’s also studied sustainable food systems. Andrews has written for Time, Muscle & Fitness, Men’s Health, Precision Nutrition, and more. He’s accumulated over 1,000 hours volunteering at organic farms and with non-profit food recovery organizations.

About The Dad Strength Podcast

From the publisher's feed

There is no strength like dad strength. It is quiet, patient, and persistent. Some would say stubborn, dammit. Dad strength rarely makes the highlight reel. It exists in the in-between spaces....The times when nobody—except maybe your kid—is watching.
