Today we consider Jesus' warning to not cause others to sin, to forgive as we have been forgiven, to operate in faith, and to realize that so much of what we do in our Christian lives is simply the discharge of our duty to Christ deserving no special reward.

In today's episode we look at being shrewd for Kingdom while remaining pure in Christ.  Encouragement is given to keep Kingdom priorities in view when we experience financial gain. 

Oh what love a father had for his son who had gone off to live a wild, reckless, ruinous life.  The father kept watching for his son to return, and when he did, oh the reunion and rejoicing!  This paints a portrait for us of Father's love for us and the love we ought to have for the prodigals who come home to Christ.

What was Jesus' practice and teaching regarding friendship with sinners?  Aren't we all sinners?  What is the point of the Gospel anyway?  How do we build relationships with non-believers?

Jesus gave clear instruction about the Work and Role of the Holy Spirit as recorded in John 14-16.  Paul also gave clear instruction regarding the work of the Holy Spirit. This episode explores the Spirit's work in the world and in the life of the believer.

While we await the return of Christ, we aren't to just sit idly by.  Jesus' expectation is that while we are watching, we should also be working for the kingdom, ready for His anytime return.

Jesus so wisely warned about divisions among people, and His words have application in so many places...families, the church, organizations, the church, the government.  We must WORK toward unity and we must work FOR the Kingdom. Want to be blessed?  Hear the Word, Obey the Word.

God wants to hear from us.  God wants to answer our prayers, but sometimes God wants to know how important something is to us and how well what we want or need aligns with His will.  He is a merciful and gracious Father, but sometimes He wants us to be persistent in our prayers.

How are we to pray?  Prayer is one of the key components of the Christian life, yet, it isn't promoted like it could be.  What can we learn from Jesus about how to pray?  What do we learn about the connection of forgiveness to answered prayer?

In this episode we consider the story of the Good Samaritan from Luke 10.  One of the ways we express our love for God is through our love of our neighbors.  But just who is our neighbor?  It seems human being we come across who is in real need might just be our neighbor.
