The Enlightened Christian Gathering church leader Shepard Bushiri has briefed his lawyers to urgently interdict the Gauteng Magistrates court from revoking his 200 thousand rand bail. Bushiri broke his silence following his unlawful departure from South Africa, further contravening his bail condition not to comment about his case. The ECG leader and his wife Marry fled to MALAWI on Wednesday. But police only became aware of their escape after the couple failed to report at a police station as per their bail conditions on Friday night. Phanuel Shuma reports...

At least 100 people, who invested thousands of their hard earned money into a get rich quick scheme, have been left high and dry and with feelings of shame and regret. This after they found the office doors of Fin Quest Holdings in Soweto closed and the owners of the scheme had disappeared with their monies. The investors include the elderly whose chronic illnesses have worsened since learning of how they've been scammed. One person has even had a stroke after discovering that they'll not be getting any returns on their investments. Our reporter Tshepo Phagane went to investigate and brought us this report…

The ANC Secretary-General, Ace Magashule is expected to appear in the Bloemfontein magistrate's court after handing himself over to the Hawks today. Magashule faces charges regarding the Free State's controversial 2013/2014 asbestos audit. Some of the charges Magashule may face under the Prevention and Combating of Corrupt Activities Act (PRECCA) are a failure to report a criminal offence and directly or indirectly accepting gratification for their or another person's benefit. Our reporter Nomalizo Mandela takes a look at how Magashule has been linked to this matter leading to his arrest.

Tribute continue to pour in for the countries Auditor General Kimi Makwetu who has died from lung cancer. It is reported that Makwetu was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2018 and has passed away in hospital at the age of 54. Last month, parliament's ad hoc committee backed Makwetu's deputy, Tsakani Maluleke, to take over from him. Makwetu's term was to end this month.
