Funeral undertakers say they have the support of crematoriums and the Muslim community as they strike for three days from today (Monday). The undertakers from 17 associations and forums, will be protesting their working conditions and remuneration. They also demand the out-sourcing of mortuary facilities. The strike will affect the movement of bodies between homes, hospitals and mortuaries nationwide.

The EFF’s Mbuyiseni Ndlozi has dismissed an incident where members of his party are seeing pushing an eNCA female journalist away as a mere “touching” and “not harassment”. The journalist and cameraman were chased away from covering an EFF Clicks protest in Goodwood Mall in Cape Town on Monday morning. In light of this we though to speak to a colleague who has many years of experience in the field, not just in South Africa but other countries. Mahlatse Mahlase who is also part of SANEF has covered many stories on the ground and she joins us now on the line to give us an insight and give her views about this incident.
