Oxfam South Africa recently launched its annual inequality report, titled Private Wealth vs. Public Good, under the 2019 theme “Public Good or Private Wealth?” This, as the world’s high-profile chief executives gather at Davos ski resort in Switzerland for the annual World Economic Forum. Oxfam say inequality was at record levels and called for a wealth tax to level the playing fields.
