Continuing our Doses of Disturbance as we take a break from our usual daily fare, we look at making decisions and what can help you make them today! Think of a couple of options and get ready with those decisions!

This week we take a break from our “usual” daily disturbances and give you “doses” instead. Just a “jab” as today’s pandemic lingo puts it. All in a minute! And for today, we reinforce the idea of responding - and responding well - regardless of circumstances!

There’s no turning back! It’s now or never. Listen on and see how to end the week strong with practical to dos – and not to dos – with whatever energy you have left within you! “Don’t be discouraged. It’s often the last key in the bunch that opens the lock.”

Almost there, just a couple of days, it’s Thor’s Day! One last thunderous push to the finish! And you’re either ready to Thank God it’s Friday or appeal to Him to extend or delay this day! For indeed, the opposition can be strongest when you’re near your destination. Sometimes, just making it through the day is enough reason to give thanks. Can we we still finish strong? Listen on!

Halfway through, do you have what it takes to see it through? Perhaps not? Which is AOK! You don’t have to have it all under control, according to plan, right on schedule. Especially when so much change calls for constant adjustment and even re-direction. For the sake of the people we serve, however, specifically those we value most, we need to keep going, “come hell or high water.” Let’s make this a wonderful, amazing Wednesday!

How to re-start after I messed up? I want to maintain the good, set aside the bad, and continue to aim for an epic finish! Living my week to the fullest, moment by moment, regardless of circumstances…and still meeting my deliverables and “KPIs!” (Key Performance Indicators). Let’s make this indeed, a thrilling Tuesday!

How does one really start well, so that we look forward to an amazing end? And what if we start on the wrong foot, or already overwhelmed or completely messed up? Half day through the work week and you now have a clearer idea of what’s going for and what’s going against you (that is, the “Force Field Analysis” framework). The balance of reflecting on how you’re doing, and the need to just keep going. The “hump day” as the challenge of “getting over the hump” is now upon you!
