In this exciting episode of the podcast I talk to you all about what I'm doing this weekend which is appearing at a super duper pooper okay more of the pooper part later event in Orlando Florida called Podcast Expo.

I also talked about my lawn and how where I live it is actually spring and that's very exciting and I went out and mowed the yard yesterday and spread two bags of poop on it. My neighbor was a little nervous about me doing this because he didn't know what the poop was going to smell like and I told him it was going to smell like victory and he went along with it.

We also talked about the importance of understanding toxicity both chemical and organic and natural pesticides have a certain amount of toxicity and just because something is natural does not mean that it cannot kill you.

It should be noted that I recorded the majority of this podcast as a lesson plan so I am not my more entertaining self, rather dry and is Jack Web would say just the facts.

Many people today want to use natural organic fertilizer on their lawns. In this Edition we talked about the different types of fertilizer. What makes up a fertilizer and what makes a fertilizer organic. We talked about the main elements as well as the minor elements of fertilizer both chemical and organic.

In this episode we talked about the fact that is cold even in Florida and we talked about making plans for spring. This will include moving plants around adding new plants and getting ready for the nutritional needs of all of our plants as we move into this most wonderous time of year.

For the second year in a row I have received zero catalogs from seed companies which is very distressing because over the years I used to get 30 to 40 seed catalogs every December and January and I ordered from every one of them. In this edition of the podcast I guess we talk about transitions and how some things I guess are just not as popular as they once were.

It's hard to believe that this is actually show 1769 but then again I've been doing this for years and years and years so I guess they add up. In last week's show, I complained about the growing number of weeds in my yard and how I was going to handle it. in the midst of all of that, a book that I gave away a month or so ago came back to me in the mail because the lady didn't like the book and the receipt of such book and glancing through the book again gave me a guilt trip about how to handle the weeds in my yard.
