In this absolutely fabulous edition of the podcast Michael tries again to swear but he can't bring himself to do it. We speak a little bit about the Christmas holiday with grandchildren and kids and hamburgers and rocket launchers made for kids and Michael confesses that his yard is full ff weeds because he did not do what he was supposed to do. This year I step into the studio totally unprepared simply because the month just creeped up on me. So following tradition I have nothing about gardening to say. Instead I talked about my journey to my new podcast that I am working on.

In this holiday kind of addition of the podcast I talked about the care and feeding of your Christmas tree if you get a real Christmas tree. If you follow this wonderful advice chances are reasonably good that when it's all over with you won't have all of these pine needles all over your floor. No I'm not asking anyone out on a date but sometimes I come up with weird rules. For this episode of the podcast I chose to give you the entire last broadcast radio show that I have done which airs on November 16th 2019. After 35 years of weekend radio on a national basis heard on radio stations all across the fruited plain the radio show came to an end finally this week. I am not sad about this because the podcast which I enjoy doing more continues and now every week there will be a specially-made show for you on some aspect of gardening. Please indulge me for this show as I go back into memory lane and not have nearly enough time to say all of the things that I wanted to say. I thank all of you who have listened to me over the years and I hope that you continue listening to me here on the podcast.

In this ever so exciting episode of the podcast I talked about a couple that I met this week who wanted to prune their trees and they needed advice. What I didn't mention is that the wife as it turns out is actually a well-known pornstar. I had no idea who she was until her husband gave me her business card. I still have no idea who she is and the last thing that she appeared to be to me what's a pornstar. She is actually the one who climbed up into the tree and did most of the pruning. I was very impressed. I wrap up the podcast talking about chemical fertilizer for the fall and organic fertilizer for the spring
