Welcome to the daily Laker, a Los Angeles Lakers fan podcast, today is January 19th, 2021. This podcast is brought to you by brownlab media and brownlabmedia.com
The Lakers go down in a close game against the Golden State Warriors with the final score 115 to 113. The Lakers got off to a commanding lead in the first quarter and were up almost the whole game until some turnovers, bad defensive breakdowns and missed shots lost them the game. In Lebron's long hall of fame career, he had never lost a game when leading by double digits into the fourth quarter in regulation which goes to show how consistent he is at winning games. This was a game the Lakers should have won if they continued to play the way they have been the last few weeks but they beat themselves on this one and going up against a team led by a superstar like Steph Curry is no easy task.
Stats for the game: Lebron James had 19, 5 and 5, AD finished with 17 points 17 rebounds and 7 assists, Schroder 25 points, Montrezl Harrell finished with 17 and 8. Kuzma had a double double with 15 and 10 rebounds.
Next game is Thursday, January 21st against the Milwaukee Bucks at 4pm pacific time.
