"And I will actually admit it, admit that my mom wanted was going to vote for him when I was talking to her about it, because it kind of surprised me because my mom has always been sort of an anti establishment person or definitely is a critical thinker and has taught me that and has, you know, really always looked at all sides of an issue and then made decisions. And so I was surprised. But she's older now and I think that for her, Covid really affected."

"I remember my parents took me and all my siblings, except my baby brother was little, so took all of us older kids to see it. And I remember after that movie having like the most vivid, not only nightmares, but when I would be lying in my bed, I would look on the floor and like, if there was something crumpled up on the floor, it would look like a shark."

"But with limited scenes there, I think it really kind of added to the mystique of things that you cannot see. Now, I believe this was the second movie that Steven Spielberg and John Williams hooked up. They went on to hook up with many, many memorable movies. But this one's kind of the first one where a lot of people knew the music right away and associated that with a shark, with a man eater. And I thought the acting was superb."

"So I do think there's always going to be the case that somebody from the other side could pretend to be on the side of whoever is doing the protest and attempt to make that look bad. So if you're organizing a protest, you almost have to police for people acting out and not being peaceful. But there's also the clips that are going to be shared on social media."

"I think driverless taxicabs is the worst idea they've ever come up with because it seems to me as like every year we're finding new ways to have people unemployed. First they want to have the drone deliveries, they want to have the unmanned deliveries. So that takes away all the delivery drivers jobs. Now you want to take have driverless taxis. Which guys have been driving yellow cabs and things in different cities in America for decades."

"How will the driverless car take control in the enormous traffic that I have where I live here in Washington D.C. so for me I feel a little comfortable sitting in her seat when someone or no one's in the other seat driving the car is just driving for itself. And for me, I want to know who, who's behind driving the car, controlling the car and will those people be invading your privacy while you're talking? If you want to talk on your phone, it's things like that."

"George Floyd's murder was a catalyst for many to really be honest about the state of civil rights in this country when it comes to policing the prison industrial complex and just the ways that black people endure fatal and life threatening treatment day to day when engaging with the police. We have seen that the police as a whole nationally support this Trump presidency because for the most part, Trump has led with a disregard of the lives and the civil liberties of black and brown people."

"So if he set out the order, he should not be mad at people for reinforcing the order or showing people the consequences of that order. "And that's when you start to see the University of California. Ronald Reagan transforms the university system shortly thereafter from this system that was essentially free to one. And now you've gotta pay to play. And now we see this college debt is being crippling, and the promise of getting a good degree is not necessarily the path to getting a good job. And that's why education has been under assault even from kindergarten through 12th grade. That's a whole nother story."
