Today's Promise: Psalm 30:5

You may be going through a season of sorrow, pain, or uncertainty, and you think the dark night of your soul may never end. In the middle of your difficulty, it's easy to get so focused on the problem that you think things will never change.

Weeping lasts for the night, but not forever. It is just for a season, not a lifetime. We all face problems, but they don't last.

Weeping lasts for the night, but not forever. The only thing that lasts forever is God's love. As a child of God, you have the favor of God, and that favor lasts a lifetime. It is His love that brings the new day and joy in the morning.

Today's Promise: Deuteronomy 1:30-31

The Children of God faced a crisis of faith as they stood on the edge of the Promised Land. The land was fertile, fruitful, and good, but it was filled with giants.

Have you ever faced a giant? Maybe not a physical one, but giants come in many forms. They can be financial, relational, or even personal.

How many of your giants would fall if you truly believed that God was fighting your battles for you?

Today's Promise: 2 Corinthians 5:17

Amazing things happened when you came to Christ.

You are not the same person you were before you came to Christ. It doesn't matter what your past was like, what you did, thought, or how you acted.

In Christ, your old life has passed away. Your desire to please yourself and rebel against God is gone. The Spirit of Christ has replaced them. Now you live the resurrected life with Christ.

As a new person in Christ, you have Christ living in you and are no longer bound to your past life.

There are several promises packed into this one simple little verse. When God is your sun, you never walk in darkness.

God is also your shield. I'm not sure how big God's shield is, but I'm sure it must be a big one!

God also provides grace to every believer. You can experience His glory and the presence of God because of His grace.

Finally, as you walk in His grace and glory, you can be assured that He is bringing good things into your life.

Today's Promise: 1 Corinthians 10:13

When it comes to temptation, you are not out on your own. God promises victory over every temptation that comes your way.

Here are three things to remember about temptation: First, everyone experiences temptation. Second, God limits the temptations that come into your life. And third, God provides a way of escape in every situation you experience.

Today's Promise: Psalm 37:25

As the Psalmist looks back over his life, he becomes convinced of one thing. He has never seen God fail or abandon His people.

Yet, God never promised a problem-free life.

You may have experienced a season of hard times. Times when it felt like your friends deserted you, and you felt as though you were standing all alone. You may have even felt like no one cared. It is during those times that you find as a follower of Christ, He is with you.

Today's Promise: John 10:10

Jesus came to give you life. Not just life, but abundant life, overflowing life, unending life.

Abundant life is eternal life. There is no fear of death for the Christian. We know that when we close our eyes in death, we open them in the presence of God.

But we don't have to wait for heaven to experience the abundant life that Jesus promised. The abundant life begins the day we give our heart to Christ.

Numbering your days reminds you that you have a limited number of days. It teaches you to treasure each day and live with intention.

Every moment is precious. Every day and year is a gift from the Lord. Count every day, and use it for God's glory.
