Today’s Promise: 1 John 2:1

When you became a Christian, Jesus forgave your sin and gave you His rightness before God.

Although you may try to live a life of holiness and obedience, there are times when you fall into sin. Instead of feeling guilty and condemned for what you have done, remember Jesus is on your side. He stands between you and God the Father, and His blood forgives your sin.

Jesus stands between you and God. Instead of God seeing your sin, He sees the righteousness of Jesus in you.

Today's Promise: John 14:3

One of the greatest promises of scripture is the return of Christ. Jesus promised there would come a time when He would return for His followers. Since the day Jesus ascended into heaven, Christians have been looking forward to the return of Christ.

Jesus said He was preparing a place for each one of us. As His follower, your dwelling place for all eternity is being perfectly designed just for you.

We don't know the time, day, or even the year of His return. Our responsibility is to simply be ready.

God has reconciled us to Him. Through Jesus Christ, although we were once enemies, we are now friends of God.

Since you are a new creature and have the righteousness of Christ in you, God has called you to a ministry of reconciliation. You are to help move your friends, neighbors, and acquaintances to be reconciled to God.

Today's Promise: Romans 15:13

This promise is a prayer for me and you. Hope begins with God and only comes from God. Before you came to Christ, you had no hope.

When you came to Christ, Jesus filled you with hope. Now you have hope for the future, hope in eternity, and hope in God's help for day to day living.

Biblical Hope is not just emotional well-wishing. Biblical hope is the confidence that God will fulfill what He has promised.

Joy and peace are the results of the hope you have in Christ.
