Today's Promise: Proverbs 12:2

I want to experience everything God has for me. I don't want to get to heaven and find I have missed out on most of God's blessings.

The verse says a "good" man will live in God's favor.

Here is the key to walking in God's favor.

When you became a Christian, God did an amazing work in our spirit. He imparted the righteousness of Jesus in your heart. When you allow that righteousness to flow into every area of our life, you begin walking in God's favor.

Imagine sitting down to dinner with Jesus? What would you talk about? What would you learn? What questions would He answer?

In this promise, Jesus invites you to open the door to your heart and allow Him to sit down with you.

This promise shows up in the middle of a letter written to the church of Laodicea.

Like so many Christians, they had become lukewarm in their faith. With all that goes on in life, it's easy to have faith in Christ, but not fellowship with Christ.

Jesus invites you to sit down and spend some time with Him. When you do, you will grow in your intimacy with Him, and find a new passion for living.

Revelation 3:20

3. God knows you are His.

• When things are going well, God is good.
• When things aren't going well, God is good.
• Amid your trouble, you have a refuge and stronghold.
• When you feel like everyone has forgotten you, God still knows your name

Even for us, it's hard to believe that anything could be better than seeing Jesus with our own eyes. Jesus promised that when He left, He would send the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit would comfort, teach, and empower them.
