Jesus declared that He was the light of the Lord. You are now that light. You bring the light of Christ into every situation of life.

Today's promise: Matthew 5:14

Jesus came as the light into a world filled with darkness. The darkness of sin had overcome the world. Jesus brought a shining hope of salvation and freedom.

Jesus took things to the next level when He declared that you are the light. He was the light of the world; now, we are the light of the world.

You are the light. Shine your light!

The more you treasure God's Word in your heart, the more you will walk in purity and obedience before the Lord.

As you allow God’s Word to go deep into your heart, it transforms your life and keeps you from sin.

First, you must cleanse your hands. You must leave behind the sin that moved you away from Him in the first place.

Second, you must purify your heart. The birthplace of our actions is our heart. Our heart must be completely His.

When you change your heart and change your actions, you have the promise that as you return to Christ, He will welcome you into His presence. Your father will draw near to you, as you draw near to Him.

James 4:8

The crown of glory is given to those who were faithful in ministry. You don't have to be a pastor or elder to minister faithfully. As you allow God to lead and share God's word with others, you are sowing the seeds for a reward in heaven.

If you lead or help in a ministry, He has a crown for you.
