2 Corinthians 5:18 – I Am Reconciled to Jesus.

Today's Promise: 2 Corinthians 5:18

God uses the word "reconcile" in this promise. It is not a word we use very often. It means to bring together or to change thoroughly.

It's the picture of two enemies becoming friends.

God has reconciled us to Him. Through Jesus Christ, although we were once enemies, we are now friends of God.

Since you are a new creature and have the righteousness of Christ in you, God calls you to a ministry of reconciliation. You are to help your friends become reconciled to God.

Today's Promise: Ephesians 3:19

This promise is the third part of a prayer Paul made for the church of Ephesus. We are claiming it for ourselves today.

God wants you to know the full love of Christ. He wants more for you than a head knowledge of His love. He wants you to experience the love of Christ that is beyond your ability to comprehend, a love that goes beyond understanding.

As Warren Wiersbe said, "As a Christian, you never have to worry about inadequate spiritual resources for day-to-day living."

The more you grab hold of God's love, the more you find the abundance of God's presence flowing through your life.

Today's Promise: Romans 15:13

This promise is a prayer for me and you. Hope begins with God and only comes from God. Before you came to Christ, you had no hope.

When you came to Christ, Jesus filled you with hope. Now you have hope for the future, hope for eternity, and hope in God's help for day-to-day living.

Biblical Hope is not just emotional well-wishing. Biblical hope is the confidence that God will fulfill what He has promised.

Joy and peace come from the hope you have in Christ.

Today's Promise: 2 Corinthians 12:10

As is often the case, the principles of the Kingdom of God run contrary to our thinking. Who would ever say, "I am content with weakness." We brag about our strengths.

God loves using weak and flawed people.

We expect great, important people to do big things. No one is surprised when a good-looking, articulate, well-educated person succeeds. When God uses weak people to do great things, there is no question about who gets the glory.

Your weakness will not keep God from using you.

Today's Promise: Proverbs 2:6-7

We can all use a little wisdom, right? If you are like me, you look back at some of your past decisions and wonder what you were thinking. If there were a way to make better choices, we could live better lives.

God promises wisdom to those who seek Him. Wisdom is the ability to make good choices that bring about success.

When you seek wisdom from the Lord, He blesses you in two ways.

1. He gives wisdom to those who seek Him.

2. God's wisdom is a shield around you.

Today's Promise: Zechariah 4:6

When God gives you an assignment, He always provides everything you need to accomplish it. Is there something God has told you to do, but it seems like a mountain before you?

What is the mountain that you are facing today? Your power or strength won't move it. You won't conquer it with your best thinking or the world's wisdom.

It is not by your might nor by your power but by the Holy Spirit's power, strength, and leadership; you can fulfill all God has called you to be and do.

Today's Promise: John 7:37-38

Jesus promised living water to those who would come to Him. His living water satisfies your soul and refreshes your spirit. When you drink His living water, you never thirst again.

Jesus said this living water would bubble up from within and overflow to the world around you. It is a constant supply of satisfaction and renewal.

As a believer, the promise of Jesus is the living water of the Holy Spirit flowing from within you. He is a never-ending source of comfort, joy, refreshment, and power.
