I saw a quote the other day.
I’ll come to the quote itself in a mo.
It was by Leonardo Da Vinci.
So I thought I’d see if I could make a series of blogs from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles who are, of course, named after renaissance artists.
Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello and Raphael.
Maybe pop something to do with Splinter or Shredder in to make a week’s worth of blogs.
Having googled, I can’t find anything good from Donatello and Raphael.
Apart from, you know, paintings and stuff.
I’ll cover Michelangelo tomorrow.
“Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication”
A number of times over the years, we’ve had people tell us they’ve decided
to ‘go elsewhere’ because they get ‘more advanced’ stuff.
More advanced training methods,
Being told exactly what to eat for the best possible results.
And, if seeing the people that have said that every now and again on Facebook has shown us one thing…………
It’s that ‘more’ hasn’t worked for them.
After nearly two decades doing this, I know that what people need isn’t more complicated and harder to do stuff.
It’s simpler and easier stuff.
And then, maybe when that’s a habit, move up a bit at a time.
If you’re not already scheduling a time to exercise, do that first.
Either booking an RTP Session or something else.
Next step is to turn up and do it.
If you’ve got weight you want to lose and haven’t checked your average calorie intake through tracking with an app like MyFitnessPal, that’ll have more benefit than dozens of other more complicated things you could do.
Check www.myrise.co.uk/learn on how to do that if you’re already a member with us.
Or www.myrise.co.uk/briefing-meeting if you’re not and want to get some life changing results in 2021
We can keep levelling up when we’ve got those things down.
But, until then, remember that “simplicity is the ultimate sophistication”
