SoftBank is in discussion with banks over a $7.5 billion loan connected to the expected sale of Arm Ltd. to Nvidia Corp.

In September, Nvidia agreed to pay $40 billion for SoftBank's semiconductor company Arm. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval. Some banks asked to join the transaction voiced anxiety that the Arm sale would not go through, according to people familiar with the situation. Amazon.com Inc said on Tuesday that it is now selling six-month prescriptions for drugs for common health concerns starting at $6 through its pharmacy.

In November, the e-commerce behemoth established an online pharmacy.

Amazon is also contemplating the establishment of physical pharmacies in the United States.

Tesla Model S Plaid cancelled.

The electric-car maker's shares dipped as much as 2.7 percent in New York when Elon Musk tweeted that the Model S Plaid sedan had been canceled, but rebounded to end the day up 1 percent when tech companies gained in the last hour of trading. The CEO stated that there is no reason to provide the automobile because the shorter-range Plaid version is already so great.

Jerome Guillen, Tesla Inc's chief of heavy transportation, has departed the firm, the electric-car maker announced on Monday, only three months after taking up the position.

Guillen, who has been with Tesla for almost a decade, was designated president of the Tesla Heavy Trucking segment in March, with the responsibility of leading the company's entry into the heavy truck industry.

Tesla has yet to begin delivering its battery-powered Semi electric commercial vehicle, citing supply difficulties as a reason for the delay.

Moderna (NASDAQ:MRNA) stock soared 6.55 percent on Monday

after the pharma said that it had applied for authorisation to deliver its COVID-19 vaccine candidate to teenagers in Canada and the European Union.

In May, Moderna announced that a phase 2/3 clinical trial of its vaccine in teenagers revealed 93 percent efficiency against moderate COVID-19 and 100 percent efficacy against a more severe classification of the condition among the almost 2,500 participants who got the medicine. The vaccination was also well tolerated in general, with no major safety concerns found during the study.

GlobalFoundries Inc. has urged a judge to decide that it does not owe International Business Machines Corp. $2.5 billion for a 2014 transaction

in which the semi-conductor maker agreed to take over an underperforming chip-manufacturing business from IBM.

In a complaint filed Monday in New York Supreme Court, GlobalFoundries seeks a declaratory judgment that it did not breach the agreement and claims IBM is threatening to sue. The suit comes as GlobalFoundries works with banks on an initial public offering (IPO) that could value the chipmaker at around $30 billion.
