From the book, Think and Grow Rich, the author writes six practice steps in bringing your state of mind to a plan that you are persistent with that gradually transforms into a physical reality. 

Yesterday was Sunday.  A normally peaceful day unless you are hosting a free workshop and you have to get some last minute stuff done. 

Skipped church and came to a co op work share around 7:00 AM; didn't leave until 10:40 PM without what I intended to accomplish. 

Years ago I would have blamed Murphy. Now, using neutral thinking philosophies taught by Trevor Moawad, I can brush it off and start again with a new attitude. 

Happy Friday!  In today's Four AM Daily Wake Up, I share four tips on how to answer questions from the book: Thinking on Your Feet. 

In the book "More" written by Benny Perez, he points out an interesting thought about building our house on the rock or sand.  

He writes that even in the fabled parable in the Bible, the storm is coming.  Just because you build your house on a strong foundation doesn't mean you won't endure through storms. 

How strong your foundation is will determine the condition you are in after the storm. 

Yesterday, I put my recruiting hat on and played the role of recruiter to fill out our 7-8 grade basketball team (Blue Squad).  

Dropped in on two families and both places the parents said, 'they aren't interested in playing.'

I asked if I could speak to the boys anyway and sure enough, after our conversation, both boys are going to play. 

Sometimes we need to get out of our comfort zone, share our vision and knock on doors of strangers. 

Fulfillment doesn't come from pleasure it comes from our daily wins. When you hit the snooze button on your alarm you are starting your day off with a loss. 

If you repeat this day after day you are telling yourself that even though your intention is to wake up at a certain time, you aren't good enough to follow through. 

Whether it's written or not, having a business plan is crucial for any business.  Having a Life Plan for your life is just as important.  Listen here to the steps you need to develop your Life Plan.

Yesterday it rained in Vegas. Like all day Seattle/ Hilo type rain. As I ran in to pick up my lunch from Bone Fish Grill there were three 'accomplished' individuals standing directly in front of the doorway. 

This lack of social awareness revealed a low sense of emotional intelligence.  

I teach my children to be alert of their surroundings and to consider others with the little things like standing in the middle of a doorway.
